The Jellybugs create their music and entertainment based upon the following beliefs:

* That education through music is  best achieved in a bright, happy and colourful learning environment.

* That education through music is  concerned with the development of the whole person. ie: physical,  social, emotional & cognitive.

* That live music and sounds are  used where possible.

* That participation is encouraged.

* That specific skills are able to be identified in each song.ie: literacy, numeracy and co-ordination.

* That our music provides an example of equity, both gender and cultural.

* That our material will draw on a variety of music styles.

*That our music is 'adult friendly'.

*That our music should lead children through experiences of positive self esteem.

* That as a band, we spend time teaching ways of participating ie:
dance, actions etc.

* That material used should draw on imagination and imaginative uses for everyday items.
